edge juice results???

I had an 06 2500 Reg cab long box that I originally installed my edge Attitude w/Juice on and was seeing boost pressures up around 40 psi (about as high as 42psi) I had analog gauges as well that read the same pressure readings as the attitude.



About 3 months ago i traded up to an 06 3500 drw quad cab and took everything (see sig) off of the old one and installed it on the new one. for some reason I am not pulling anywhere near the boost psi i was on the other truck. Everything else is the same. What could be the difference? I would have thoguht i would see the same psi on both trucks. same engine, mileage was within 5k between the trucks. What gives? Any ideas?

Did you transfer the boost elbow on the turbo? Been playing around with mine to increase or decrease the boost amount.

Never changed the boost elbow on the truck. They are both stock.

04. 5 and newer dont have elbowes u can buy a boost fooler from bd and other companys but there electronic not manual like the elbow. as for why the boost change i have no idea with my stock turbo and edge it would only build about 38 and that was a spike. had to be somthing in the flash of the ecm. the map sensor only reads 40lbs and thats what ur edge reads for its boost so to read higher is odd.

Doesn't the Juice already do the boost fooling? I thing it does.

With mine on the old truck thats what i would see as a norm..... 38psi. every once in a while my analog would get just over 40, usually under WOT but not very often, that is why i dont understand why i am not seeing anything over stock with the new truck. I was thinking about the possibility of a boost leak, but then i factored in why would it leak and keep me at factory. At this point it would almost have to be something other than a leak. Odd.

About 32psi seem to be the normal max boost reading here, I am curious how you were getting 38psi on your last truck?

When I had the Edge Juice w/ Attitude monitor. I easly set my alarm off at 40psi of boost.

What other mods do you have if any?

I can hit 40 to 41 psi on my Juice w Att as well. I am wondering if maybe your fuel pump is weak, and won't push enough fuel to get your boost numbers up higher.

I hit 41 at wot every time. Edge has a built in boost fooler as Woodchuck said.

40 also no problem, pullin 15k+ 5er. on ramps are the fun part!
