Edge juice W/ Att. and Hot....reset itself?

Was driving down the road yesterday and all of a sudden the truck started acting funny and the engine was lugging alot, looked down at the attitude monitor and it had the warning message on the screen, the one you get when you first install it. Hit the enter button and all was normal again edge was back on level 3 and I didn't pay attention to it anymore. Went to restart the truck later in the day and same message saying I would get the message 4 more times. Now it got my attention when I noticed the display was not the way I programed it. I then went to see if I still had the HOT mode and sure enough I don't. My question is has anyone else ran across this problem. I have had the box for over 30K now and no problems. It just seemed like it reset itself for some reason. Haven't had time to call edge or my dealer yet.

My attitude display froze up on the miles per hour readout at 50k miles and I called edge about it. I was told it was the display and to send it back to them so I could receive a new updated unit. I did and I have'nt had a problem since. I now have 65k on the speed-o.

Check your connections

I would check the power tap and my grounds. Could be the power tap is loose maybe?????

We came across one that did the same exact thing (only it wasnt a Hot version). The connector for the Attitude module was very loose. We stuffed some dielectric grease in the plug and put a tube of shrink wrap around it to keep it tight.

I have seen a few do this. Edge is working on a fix. Happens to F/D/C trucks

This is true. I have been in contact with Edge and they are very aware and are don't really know why it's happening. Only occuring on some trucks. I have two identical trucks they are installed on and only one is doing it. Edge is looking for any feedback anyone can offer.

Mine did same thing called edge and they gave unlock code to me for hot and said when memory got full they was reseting not sure why but they would be doing a update program soon and would then contact me to send unit for update??
