I built a set of twins and will be installing them in the next week. I have a edge juice and was wandering since the juice will only read 40psi of boost and the twins will be some where around 50 psi will I need to install a mechanical boost gauge or is there a way to get the juice to read higher boost pressures?

I had them on the truck for about two weeks last summer and they made 52psi of boost! I took them off because I did not have enough time to get the head work done. Last summer I was running edge drag comp and a pillar gauges since then I have switched to the juice with attitude and have finished up with the head work.

Why does the Juice only read to 40 psi? Is it year specific? I know I can set my alarm to 70 psi. Of course your pressures are out of my league but I'd imagine when the PS 62 gets here I'll get over 40.

I believe that the reason that the juice will not read over 40 psi is because that is the limit of the MAP sensor.

If your running twins I suggest using a mechanical gauge. Or 3

I use the Juice for the rest of my gauges. EGT, FP, INTK TEMP, Coolant temp.

Yep. Map sensor won't read above 40psi. Same on the new trucks. Probably the same sensor. I would get a mechanical gauge so you can keep an eye on it.
