Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Edge Mileage max anyone running.

Sounds like a good deal to me with fuel at $3. 47 today! Will it work with my mostly stock set up and later on with more mods? In another thread was mentioned a quadzilla product that claims the same performance. Feed back on both would be great thanks.

I can't tell you anything about the miliage max. I have a edge with attitude which I installed about 1 year ago it has increased my miliage to about 21 and the main thing I wanted was when towing my camper, 8500 lbs. was getting about 9. 5 and now get aroung 12. 5. Just got the Hell out of Dodge! Moved about 20 miles east so now I'm a commuter and the mpgs are a little more impotant. I would like something that ramps mileage but would still like more power to play. Don't tow much anymore just my daily driver. How do you like your set up for power Melton?

What highway mpg were you getting before? Was that 75 or 65 mph? What rpm's? I too would LOVE to get higher mpg's I haul mostly on the interstate at 75 but also alot of 2 lane roads at 65. I got 16-17 empty before the hypertech and 19-20 after. That is with cruise set at 65 and running 1900 rpm's.

If it were me, i'd go to the quadzilla. Its much cheaper than the edge unit and if you decide you need more power later on, you can pay to upgrade it to their xzt+

I get great power with the edge and top monarch pass in co. at 60 mph with camper in tow. I need to up grade my exhaust to a 4" as the temps run a little high when pulling hard. I don't know anything about the quadzilla but have heard good things.
