Had the pump changed

they did not tap the injector pump wire wire

Need to know which pump wire to tap into , I find two wires hard to get to

one looks like Heat shrink is slick

The other wire may be heat shrink but it looks woven. which of the two

do i tap into. Power edge Box.

I think blue chip or someone makes a replacement cap for the vp44. it has a external screw correctly located over the right connection inside. Replace the cover, turn in the screw, attach wire on outside. I think this is the safest way to tap a pump. You can always put on the old cover on to undo it. It seems easy to install once the APPS is out of the way.

Here ya go BD Stealth Cover for the VP44 Injector Pump



Got one when I replaced the VP. Works good. A tip when you install it is to ohm the thread in post where the wire connects to the corresponding wire on the pigtail from the pump till you make continuity then go 1/2 - 1 turn more. Going too far into the inner wiring isn't a good thing.
