Stand alone transmission controller?

DT-466 Turbo question....

After talking to my buddy that is "watching" my truck... reverse is to the left, not to the right like I thought it was.

some of the 05's had either or transmission. Yeah, you'll need a flywheel change as well, the dual mass fly wheels can break when you start to apply big power

So I'm guessing the NV5600 is a better transmission?

I wouldn't say that just yet.

But as far as the flywheel is concerned it depends on how stock power holds up on it, moderate, and obviously crazy power will break it.

I would say the g56 fly wheel will suck with crazy power no matter what.

stock to moderate, need more time to see how it holds.

As far as the transmission it self, same deal, time. Some guys have crazy power to them already.

I have test drove a g56 a few times and I like it. I'd get used to it for sure.

If your only buying EDGE or Banks, go with the edge. Banks customer service sucks. I would also check out other box's too as stated above.

I would look into TST. No pressure(which may cause problems with injectors) and you can adjust to what ever power levels you could want

i know most everyone here is anti banks, but i just installed the PDA and i really like it. I know they aren't the biggest power adder out there but i have had several banks products and havent had any trouble yet (knock on wood) my future plans are maybe some injectors, turbo and FASS then shoot a little propane and meth into the mix should have a pretty decent running truck. Might take a little more money to get over 500 HP with banks but like i said i have yet to have any problems with any of the banks stuff that i have owned. :)

I personally like banks myself. There is a difference between reliable horsepower and redicculous power. So I guess it ll depends on what you are going to do with the truck. banks has been in the game considderably longer than most of the others with race proven durability. so the biggest ? is what is it that your looking to get out of it!
