I've been trying to decide between the two.

Been reading all the old threads and still can't decide.

Don't want to start a flame war, just need some input.

Has Quad ever come up with a pressure sender ?

Read a few posts about failed electronics with Quads anyone have that trouble with Edge ?

Do like the the tunability of the Quad.

quadzilla by far i have had both i had the edge drag comp and the qaudzilla is much better the adjustability is much better and the customer service is second to none, edge customer service is not the best or the fastest, the people at quad are fast and very nice.

I have the Quad XZT+ and like it very much. I had some surging problems early on but customer service continued to work with me and resolved the issue. Now it's running fine. 65-70+ HP and +3 MPG and multiple downloadable codes from their website makes this a useful tool. No experience with the Edge.

I have the Adrenaline with Pulse and like it very much. I have no experience with the Edge so cannot compare. The problems I have had have been mostly my fault. I do have surging but they have a software correction but I have not updated yet to see if it fixes the problem.

Quad does not yet have a replacement for the fuel pressure sensor to the best of my knowledge, they are supposedly getting close to releasing a new one though from what I've heard. I have had both the Edge comp and the Adrenaline with Pulse monitor, and I chose to keep the Adrenaline.

I too have had problems with the fuel sender from Quad. They are nice people there at Quad, usually, but after sender #3 that failed to EVER show psi, they got tired of dealing with me and started giving the run around (and started charging me shipping for their FAILED units. ) They also refused to refund money to vendor which in turn refused refund to me. All I have is their little gauge unit and had pyro reading diffeneces with all of them as much as 50-100 degrees at idle. I don't trust them, but all you need to do is read up and see that they have many satisfied customers. For my money, I'll skip Quad and go elsewhere.

I can tell you that the Edge Comp is very reliable and will last you a long time. Mine has been in my truck for over three years and I have never had a problem with it. It is well made and takes a beating. I have relocated it in the cab a couple of times, unhook, move, nope, unhook, move, drop (oh S!*%) hook it back up and runs like new. Durable and well made. Don't know how it stacks up to the Quad performance wise.

My Edge makes all my other mods work well together, RV injectors, High performance VP44, mainly. When I had it dynoed the Edge didn't really encrease my HP because I was maxed out with the amount of air I am able to get. I am hoping to upgrade turbos someday and I am sure the edge will be the component that adds the air correctly to allow more fuel therefore more HP and torque. It has also been very good about keeping codes away. The last module I had did not do as well.

NOPE. boxes only add fuel/timing. Need other mods for air (turbo/porting/cam/ect). ;)

I have run edge comp and Adrenaline and prefer the Quad. I think you're looking to compare to juice box though. Very similar features but Quad makes more power and is (with pulse) much more adjustable. I too, think the pyro is a bit off on the Quad but I'm happy it reads high rather than low!

I've had good results from both customer service and tech support from BOTH companies!:D IMHO Edge made a good product and it still is. Quad is making a good product and still improving it, so I prefer my Adrenaline.

have u ever ran the 2 on the same truck to see the difference? i did and the DC put up better dyno #'s. i had tried 2 tunes that were suppose to put out all the fuel that was available. i cant remember what tunes they were being that it has been a while. the only thing different was i dynoed each box on 2 different days but the truck was not touched anywhere esle but the boxes.

once the adr does get all figured out and has some back to back factual numbers(dyno, 1/4 mile)compared to the DC, i think it will be back in my truck.

I was referring to the juice since the DC is apple to oranges as the Quad has WAY more features. I owned a standard comp and there was no comparison there either.

I agree my edge is pretty basic, but they all were when I bought it. Wish I could justify an upgrade, maybe with the new turbo so I can get the air I need. Then the Edge, or the Quad, which can only adjust timing and fuel, as DCreed stated, will add the fuel to go with the air. I am sure the Quad or a new updated Edge would be better. All about money; isn't it always!
