OK - trying to figure out my chip "package. " I have seen on here over and over the Edge Juice with attitude. (or the Hot juice, but not sure how you get that). When talking with a local shop they suggested a TS Ramifier stacked with a TST over it. They said they have very bad luck with Edge prodcuts, 3 of 4 are returned.

Sometimes shops tend to have better luck with a supplier products based upon relationship rather than performance. I am just wondering how many people have had problems with the Edge products because the juice with attitude looks to be a whole cheaper and do everything the TS /TST stack will do.

I have had nothing but fantastic customer service with Edge. I sent in for the free Hot Juice upgrade (TDR members only) and asked if they would give me some new adhesive for the attitude monitor. Since I had to take it off a couple times and it lost it's stickness. And if they would give me another screw for the pyro hook up. They sent it back with the Hot program, a whole new pyrometer probe (with screw), three different sets of stick/velro tape and a new mount.

Then last week I called them because my truck threw a couple codes for the second time. They said we have an update for the Juice module, we will send you a new one and you send your old one back. They paid for shipping both ways. Just sent off the old one this morning.

Every time I talk to anyone from Edge they are friendly and very helpful. I have had great luck with this unit and EDGE, I pl;an on stacking with an EZ in the future.

Great people and product.

I think its all in what you want. The attitude is quite a nice piece, So that would be a cool advantage, But for down right DYNO breaking power, The TST/EZ (or any presssure) combo puts enough fuel to over fuel even the most aggresive twin turbo (no challenge to over fuel a single :-laf )

Soooo... . pick you poison, both will rocket you truck past most of the traffic

PS - keep in mind you can stack an EZ onto a 05 juice as well, So there you go, Hot Juice with the EZ - thats enough to get ya in trouble

PPS - Better call Southbend clutch with that much fuel and a stock G56 ;)

I had a RAMifier in my truck. It worked as advertised. Then I stacked it w/ the Pup. In my opinion, that is a fantastic stack. I took it out because I could not turn the knob on the RAMifier down and I knew it was just a matter of time until something bad happened, which would be my fault, not either of the manufacturers.

Now that I have a 7 month old boy and another one coming in Feb. my play money is all gone for transmission and turbo upgrades until the price of diapers, formula and diesel goes down so I took my last hoorah and got the Juice/Attitude. It is not as quick as the aforementioned stack but it does take care of business. It just takes a little longer to get there ;) .

Bottom line is I feel safe w/ the Juice on stock parts so I went w/ it.

As far as the customer service issue, I personally have not had any issues so I have not had to contact Edge directly. But a friend of mine that has an '05 put the J/A on his truck and he had an issue w/ his Attitude blacking out on like the second day he had it. He called the people he bought it from, they spoke w/ Edge and a brand new Attitude was shipped to his office that same day. I think that is cool because the issues I have had w/ 2 other companies (not TS Peformance) required that I sent my defective part back before they would send me the replacement.

Sorry if this post is long winded.

Just got my Juice back and I will tell you what it is most definitely HOT :-laf. I have had to send a module back and Edge just sent me the newest version of the Attitude monitor back and everything was working great. I had BD on my last truck and it was a whole lot better than anything that edge had at the time I thought  I now know that there is nothing wrong with there products and would have to problems recommending them to someone else, I think you will be very happy with a juice module The Attitude monitor is wonderful, I love all the features. Hope this helps...

Tomeygun,

First, this is not a flame. Just a comparison.

I see you dynoed 496 with the TST/EZ staked and a Sledpuller 66, I dynoed 498 with the Hot Juice and a B1-2-04. So where is this "down right DYNO breaking power" of the TST/EZ stack?

In my opinion, most will never go to twins ($3. 5K+) and are not looking to be a Dyno King (that by far get too spendy for most folks). I think most will look for smooth controllable power and if they end up a little short in high dyno numbers, they will except it for the drivability in every day use. Plus all the features of the Attitude are a plus. Again, this is my opinion.

I hear ya, no flame taken - And though you make a good point on my truck (haha, no where near dyno breaking!) - My point was no so much my truck, But that the TST/EZ stack will always (i think) make more power than the Juice (the 03-04 model that already has pressure)

The difference between your module and mine is that unless you change injectors, etc - you are as high as you can go (no more levels on the Juice) IMO of course

But with my stack (TST/EZ) - I have levels to go. Heck, with no injector mods and a SINGLE turbo, Lmills hit 598hp (BTW- might not break a dyno, But I think Piers did 650+ with TST/CrazyLarry and twins, And he even carries EDGE... But chose to use TST)

My main point is that for 03-04 trucks, The TST+pressure will continue to be HP king - And as for drivablity, my truck drives fine, And I have a TON of control due to having TQ settings and HP settings - I run around daily on 6/3, If I need more spoolup I just up the TQ number (just like the low-boost fueling on the Juice)

Couple last thoughts, TQ numbers tend to be higher on the TST than the Juice (if I remember correct) and I did actually have a Hot juice at home ready for testing... . BUT I let someone use it while they went on vacation, Well... its gone forever, He won't give it back :-laf - So I know the Juice is a great product, I'd own both... But its TST all the way for me (at least for my timing/Duration box ;) )

I understand what you are saying about the 03 & 04's being at their limit with the Hot Juice, however I wonder what would happen if you stack a Crazy Larry with it? I don't know anyone who has tried it, but it may come to light in the future. ;) You know how people like to keep raising the bar! :-laf

Oh, by the way, my injectors are stock.

I used my old '99 truck as a trade-in on the Beast: '05 Bright Silver QC, short bed, CTD, 4x4, 48re...

Anyhoo, I found an Edge EZ box in the back seat of the '05... it's a 2003 EZD1000C

unit. Will it work on the new truck? I'm actually afraid to try it. The new truck has mucho huevos! At any rate, if I do want to try it, it has no hook-up instructions. any ideas?

That EZ will not work on the 05, however it will work on the 03 and 04 555's.

btw Congrat's on the new 05.

Thanks for the info, RankRam. I'm not sure what to do with it at this juncture. It looks almost brand new.

Was it in the truck when you picked it up from the dealer? If so, you might want to return it to them.

Jeff,

You are right! Your truck definately has ATTITUDE, but not a Juice with Attitude! You definately didn't fall short of being Dyno King at PDR Dynomania with (if I remember right) 692 HP! and the trophy to prove it! Oo.

Beside that, you are a 12V, 2nd gen man, what do you know about 24V, 3rd gens? :-laf :-laf JK :D It was great seeing you again this year at Piers! Looking forward to next year. Your truck ROCKS!!!!! and is a bit of a sleeper. :-laf :-laf

Don't know if you noticed my rocker panels: :D
