Edge Products Sold?

I just heard thru the grapevine that Edge Products was purchased by SuperChips. Anybody here to absolutely confirm or deny. I started using their products as soon as they came out and have upgraded and been pleased with everything they have done. Will they continue or just Smoke into the sunset?

I checked www.edgeproductsinc.com and www.superchips.com and found no info on a sale or merger.

Seems to me it would be like Rolls Royce being sold to Yugo.



Could be the latest in the "Ford Owns Cummins" type of rumor mill.



$650 for a rebadged EZ?:--)

I'm really hoping this is just a BAD mistake but it was told to me second-hand from a MAJOR seller of Edge and Superchips.

Here is the scoop! I am an Edge dealer. A quick call to my supplier got this answer. Super Chips is buying EZs and Comps from Edge and putting Super Chip lables on. This is called "private label". If you will notice, BD is also doing the same thing with EZs. "And now you know the rest of the story"... ... ... ... ... .

I think I read on here awhile back that the "Raptor" chip is also just a relabeled EZ. Sounds like the same kind of deal.

Edge is healthy and doing well!!!!

I have it from a great source that the Edge is staying the EDGE and is just suppling supper chips with there product. There might be some changes just for them as they do for DD but that is it... .

That's good news. The guys at Edge are a credit to the industry. I'm glad to hear that I was told wrong. Thanks for jumping in with the info guys I knew I could come here and set the record straight. And now back to your regularly scheduled bombing.
