Competition Edge's new drag truck

Here are some pics of the new drag truck that edge and diesel dynamics built. This was only it's 2nd testing session and they had some problems. This is one of the nicest put together cars i have ever seen. It is in a class by itself. In the next few months they will get all the bugs worked out, and then watch out!!!!



While we were helping the crew it felt like i was helping a pro stock race team. I have never seen a operation quite like this. I'm not sure what other events it will make this year, but you should try and be there to witness this truck.

WOW... that truck is absolutely beautiful... I'd love to know how much it weighs and what it dynos...



With a parachute installed I would hope that it is a 9 second truck...

Parachute is just for 150mph... . not time related, but there aren't many 150mph trap speeds that aren't at least in the 9s.



That new Edge truck is pretty sweet. It's amazing how fast you can go with just a chip

He's a new driver, who has VERY little time behind the wheel, hence the redlight. He has got a LOT of tuning let to do, but once he does it will be a very nice ride.

The last run he made at the track he blew his head gasket. . Made it about half way down the track then booom. . lots of white smoke comming out of the stacks. . Still got about a 15. 5 quarter mile coasting half way down the track.
