Well there are holes for the rivets on the radiator support frame for the build/data plate for the big white rig. I looked and there was nothing there as d/c suggested it would be, either there or under the passenger seat riveted to the floor pan support. How in god's creation am I gonna get one? the VIN does not provide enough info to produce one and the suplimental build sheet doesn't list the trucks equipment options. OOoofaaaa.

Tim,

Did you order it or buy it off a lot?
The dealer where you ordered it 'should' be able to reproduce the build-sheet and apply for a new data plate.

Mick

Good thought but the truck was bought off the lot~ish, What I mean is it was located from a dealer in New Hampshire and was a deal that fell thru. I have the window sticker and some of the origional dealer's info. I think it was a lot rig tho.
There must be a record of the truck during it's birth no?

Tim, things could very well be different, but my '95s have the equipment options listed on a sticker on the bottom of the hood at the front. Took me a couple of years to find the sticker and find out my 2500 had the snow plow package, I didn't even know it. It was a demo, had 4k on it when I bought it.

95' 25004X4,AT,Driftwood,Banks Stinger,Warn fender flairs and running boards(work truck)
95 3500,5 speed 3:54,BD E-brake,Driftwood,Banks&Psycotty,34,000 GCVW apple and tractor hauler(works harder truck)

This truck has a "suplimental" build sticker in the glove box and lists everything the truck does not have (i. e a six speed, 360 gas motor, but also has the code for diesel and the slt+) very confusing. I looked in that local as I read your post and no such luck, The "BIBLE" shows only the two locals I described before #ad

I have a funny feeling that this truck has the plow springs in it and thats why I was looking to find out. Can anyone still read the tag on their springs still?

Tim,

I have the plow package & the tags read 47 on
the driver's side and 46 on the passenger side. Mine's a 2500 but I think it's consistent with a 3500. You may also find the spring sizes on Dave Fritz's website. Good luck,

Matt

Tim,
You can go to any serice department and have the service guy print out a factory build sheet (aka options list) for your VIN number. You don't need to go back to the original dealer, any dealer will do. I did this when I was shopping for used trucks.

Tim, I have the snow plow package and my springs read 046 on the drivers side and 039 on the passangers side.
