Competition Who's going to Redding CA?

... . and Diesels in an abortion of a class called Run What Ya Brung. It pits street trucks, against unlimited cube gassers, with Rockwells drop boxes, etc.

Anyway, about 5 exceptionally good running gassers went out the gate, along with Drew.

The pull off came around, and 2 gassers puked, while Drew put down another flawless run, but unfortunately, an Ohio gasser, managed to inch by him.

csevers, had a really nice pull, but was not in contention. The rest of the Diesels were fine running Street Stocks, that did a great job, but probably shouldn't have even been in that class.

I would say 800HP and up is a reasonable START to get top ten.

Very nice hook Drew! I sat through that entire class and thought that a diesel wasn't gotta get within 20 ft of the top gassers... ... . it was a releif to see that pass. I remember running in the conception of that class. I was in the top 5 just about everywhere with a box and injectors on an 03... . how times have changed. I don't know what to think of the class anymore... . really just an abortion of slapped together rules. Whenever guys can make some minor suspension mods and drop down from a big block pro class and have a legal truck just about somes it up. Not to mention 15$ for one adult to get in... ... ... hmmm... . the pullers sure didn't get paid... . bet ya I know who did.

How in the world did a guy who can't even change a headlight bulb become somebody who is making a killing promoting truckpulls?

I understand its not about money and its for fun but things have really changed in western PA in the four years I have been gone.

Oh yea, I forgot about redram, he managed to slip bast csevers by . 89 of a foot.

That promoter lost about 50 pulls this year, but don't be discouraged there is many other pulls in NW PA that are more puller oriented.

i ''took some video''... as to how well it turned out with the fence in the way and the sun in your eyes, who knows. . I have no idea how to put it up for viewing or how to get it on the computer.

I thought it was a good turn out with 30 something in the RWYB and also 30 something in the street diesel.

Also seen that sledpuller 1 was street driven to the pull. How is #2 coming now?

Gene, cane you pm me some other local area pulls you are talking about.

gene,

then what happened in the street class?? A little embarassing to say the least. Esp after how many trucks that pulled in the RWYB class and then street.
