so I experimented on the drive way and three out of three times no problem. I'll know more today.
Nick, you'd be proud, I have ran all 5 programs now, and the performance level is not as powerful as I expected, but it was programmed for a stock 6.7 with all emissions intact. How can you stand to wait? I would have been on all 5 levels before I went a mile:-laf

Update!! It still has the sluggish power below 2000-RPM and then blasts off with hi power above 2000-RPM when accelerating, when in regen, BUT the throttle sticking at 3100 for a second or two (what seems like minutes) is gone. Seems like the EFILive has eliminated the sticking throttle sensation. It's still in regen, so I have a few more miles of testing it. I'll post more after my trip to Parker AZ.
BTW MMeier, the higher HP I now have, will require an NV5600 upgrade, do you know where I could get one?![]()
one thing I've learned is that any change to the tune MAY need 50-100 miles of driving to 'normalize'. like it goes back into a learning mode for awhile. with my truck, they say any tune change more than one level I should allow for relearning and a gentle 100 miles. food for thought...
Ran a few miles on level 5, taking it easy, and I liked the way it worked in conjunction with my G56. It shifted so much better and accelerated real smooth, it even seemed to dampen the NVH noise in 3rd @1500 RPM. I going to keep it on level 5 for awhile, I'll just make sure not to race it between traffic lights, or climb long grades, but this will be at GVW only. So far it has been worth every penny I paid.
