Can I just buy the blue printed calipers and what would it cost? I think one of mine is seized and I am in need of new ones.

Also I am interested in stainless steel brake lines since they are old and I'm going to do a lift in a few months. Is it worth it to get the kevlar/steel ones from EGR or spend less and get regular braided ones?

I got the superduty blue printed calipers when I got the front discs for my '98. They are simply standard calipers that have had the pistons hand fitted to work ideally at operating temp. The point being, you should be able to buy the calipers alone - don't need to buy a system since the discs are still standard size for the truck. My front brakes work quite well, by the way, with the EGR slotted rotors, EGR's brake pads, and blue printed calipers.

As to the braided lines, I bought those earlier as a separate upgrade. I don't think there's anything particularly special about them relative to other braided lines. They fit well and improved the solidity of the brakes. If you can find an equivalent product for less money, give them a try!

I have EGR complete front setup and their rear shoes/hardware and have no brake issues anymore. Had the front about 4 yrs. Brakes and tires are areas I don't take any shortcuts.

I have a brand new pair of EGR stainless hoses for the front of a 2nd gen. Will sell for $60 and I will pay ups ground. Problem is, they are in a Pod getting delivered to our new home in Minden, nv and I wouldn't be able to ship until after the first of Aug

Thanks for the replies, I will most likely get the calipers, I'm going to turn the rotors and I bought new pads. Mybe the next time I go for rotors and pads Ill do EGR set-up. As for the brake lines I would love to take them, but I will be doing a 5in lift in the near future and wanted extended ones.
