Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Is this a normal looking color? This is the second time I've cleaned it, and it currently has 144k miles on the clock. My crossover pipe is about the same color.
I have a friend who has a 2012 4500 and his crossover pipe is the stainless steel color without any purple and the egr cooler isn't discolored either.
My fuel mileage had dropped from my normal of 10.2 to the 5-6mpg range and I threw a p0420 code before I cleaned the egr valve and cooler. Since I've cleaned it I'm in the 7-8mpg range. I did run a bottle of catclean through it.
I'll haul a high cube sea container tomorrow and see if I have gained any mileage back tomorrow.
I'm wondering if my dpf and catalytic systems are nearing the end of their life or if I have another issue.
