WARP is a tuning software, just like EFI Live.

You can tune yourself, thou that’s takes a lot of trial and error, or you can buy tunes from tuners. Most will only talk those kind of tunes in person.

If you want a monitor/box tune then look into a Race Me Ultra.

I think I'm looking for the most straightforward way to tune it without potentially messing something up :)

Also, why would I have to remove the DEF tank if it's not in use anymore?
The main reason is there are sensors in the tank along with the pump wanting to run! The DEF lines to the exhaust system will just hang on the truck.

If you go with EFILIVEI would find a good program writer in your area. There are several out there and can write anything you want.
Both of my son's use EFILIVE on their trucks one is on a 2006 and the other is on a 2013.5 truck. Both have custom tunes written for their trucks. The 2013.5 is a daily driver and runs great now. The 2006 truck is mainly a high horse power truck built for show but this truck can get up and go!

I use the EFILive programming with a DEF delete on my 2014 dually/Aisin/4.10. The only part I had to physically remove was the catalyst can/DPF filter (can’t remember the proper name) and replaced it with a good old fashioned muffler. All unused components are simply shut off by the programming. My tune is a “tow” tune so very similar to stock and no black smoke. I didn’t buy the EFILive programmer. The shop I use has multiple licenses so they can use one programmer for multiple trucks. They keep my tune on file so if it needs to be reloaded I just show up at their shop and they flash it back in.

You may want to drop the DEF tank and clean the filter, that's were most DEF problems occur , if its Bad check the DEF Injector ,if plugged clean it ...and to stop this in the future check out My DEF thread in this section. Just providing some alternatives to $3K Bill plus the loss of Warranty if any.
Are you still diluting your DEF with 1.5 - 2 gallons of store bought DEF? If so, do you have an update on how you've been fairing with it?

Been doing this for Years, I have Cummins and Navistar Engines.....I manufactured My own over the years, for the Sake of Private owners I been mixing it with store Bought DEF and DW for about 2 years, Its whatever was convenient for Me.

My guess the DW will be common practice in the Days Ahead.

There are NO laws, Only a mandated API certification that's It.....IMO is a bigger Hoax on America than the Fake News...

My interest stems from the longevity of the DEF pump and injector. Not many folks have the experience or wherewithal to dive into something like this as you do and in my previous dealings with you when I've purchased injectors, etc from you I've learned you know what you're talking about.
