Does anyone know who make the EGR motor for Ram?

If so, do you know the part number.

I have a faulty (I think) motor and I am trying to find a replacement.

It s for my swap out set. The only motors I seem to be able to finds are AC Delco ones. Th photos look identical, but I cannot find confirmation on the numbers.

It is the black polymer component that actuates the EGR valve.

If you google EGR motor for the 6.7 Cummins you get hits four the whole unit (around $500 plus) and in those hits usually. When it shows only the motor, the Delco brand shows up.

Anyway, I've never known of parts of an EGR Valve ASSEMBLY to be available separately.

AND, even if your truck did have GM axles, what makes you think an EGR part would also be GM? Axles and EGR Valves are not even DISTANTLY related parts.

Years back I worked for Echlin at the time they were the worlds largest OEM and aftermarket parts manufacturer. We made ; ACDelco, Ford motorcraft, Standard automotive, NAPA parts. We also supplied Holley, Carter. And many others. I’m not sure if they are still intact or have been split up by investment bankers like the Outboard Marine Corporation was. My point is many suppliers make our parts, many brand names that is but they just might come from the same factory.
I was in the fuel systems division back then. We were just starting to gear up for electronic fuel injection parts manufacturing when they closed the New York plant. I was the Quality Controll manager at the time. Most hated guy in the plant. Lol. I was offered a job in another location but didn’t want to move. I blew it. Could have made the jump over to the Sierra Marine division located at the time in Port o Rico. A fool I was. Life moves on ....
So it doesn’t surprise me that our trucks have parts that have ACDelco stamped on them.

Didn’t know that about you, ED. Where was the NY plant? I totally understand the parts manufacturing/ contracting business and it doesn’t surprise me at all.

Our plant was in Ronkonkoma, Ny. The building was the old Passer K @ S building. They made Carburetor parts and throttle body components. Along with water pumps. And anything else that could fit on our machines. Probably had 40 old Brown an Sharp screw machines. Bridgeport mills, and a few dozen punch presses. We made everything from throttle shafts to idle mixture screws to linkages.
As the Quality Controll Manager one of the largest headache catches I was involved in stopping the production line was someone made a change to a print fr a fuel inlet fitting on a Rockchester Carb. The counter bore ended up being too deep. The counter bore is there for the stone filter. The wall thickness between the counter bore and the inverted flair fitting on the inlet side became too thin and the brass fittings started to fail out in the field.
Took the Screw Machine Forman and I a few days to track down when and how the change was made. Turns out a rebuilder has ordered the wrong part and was crushing the stone filters as a result. When they called customer service instead of being informed that they ordered the wrong part the Dept manager made a running change to the design prints thinking it would solve the issue. We caught it before too many got out. Not fun. As I said I was the most hated guy in the plant. If I stepped out of my office it usually meant the line was getting shut down.
I’m much happier now as a Chief Engineer on a ferry boat far away from offices... Lol
