Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) egr removal & intake manifold ?

I am a fairly new CTD owner and new to TDR. I have done a lot of research on this site, but now I have a question. I have a 1997 California truck, but I live in TN. I am going to remove or block off my egr and I want to replace my intake manifold to get away from the air restrictive one that is currently on my truck. I am having trouble finding a regular 49 state non-egr intake manifold that will swap with mine. I have looked at the ATS manifolds also.



Does anyone know where I can find a non-egr intake manifold ?



Also, which is the better option... . replace with a regular intake or go with the ATS manifold ?



I remember reading a thread on this subject where someone had a source to purchase the non-egr manifolds but after multiple searchs, I can't seem to find that information again.



Any advice / information is greatly appreciated.

Intake

I got mine from PDR 866-888-9396. I saw Olee had some chrome intakes in the classifieds, I would guess they are non egr. Dig in the classifeds it one of the recent adds listed. When I got my intake it was actualy chrome. I understand dodge sold them as chrome. Also go with the ATS exhaust manifold.

If you are planninig on bombing your truck and will need to put anything in the intake the Arc-flow will make that easy.

I picked up a used one at reliablegoods.com it was pretty cheap. You just need to know the part number which I don't have handy. you will get the check engine light in case you were unaware.
