Egr service on EVIC?

Been looking at the latest Geno’s catalog and noticed the EGR cleaning kit. We bought our truck with 68k miles and I can’t find any detailed information if this service was done. They logged all of the oil changes and recall stuff. My question, does the overhead display notify if the EGR needs to be serviced like it does for oil change intervals?

Searched for this but couldn’t find info on it. Thank you. Scooter

It comes on around 67,000 or so. Someone either done the service and cleared the reminder, or just cleared it.
What year is your truck? I think from 2015 on, the service is just changing the filter, and not having to clean the EGR Cooler.
I did my 2015 at 68k, the filter was good, but I changed it anyway.
I got the filter kit from Genos.

2009 with just over 100k. Figured it was done before we bought it.

2013 trucks and newer only need the filter changed at 67,500 miles, but the Dealer will tell you the cleaning is "recommended".

Thank you both for the info. I have had it in for service and recalls. The dealership has never brought it up so I assume it was taken care of. The previous owner was pretty detailed about having his oil and filters changed on cue so I guess I will trust that he (and the dealership) accomplished this on schedule. It is a good thing.... will free up funds. Both axles and the transfer case are due for a fluid change. Maybe one of those aluminum rear diff covers might be in the cards now .

Highly advise NOT using the Mopar gear lube.

If anything get the AAM aluminum cover.

Haven’t decided on the fluid yet but am looking at the PML cover. Installed on on the transmission last year and love it.
