Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Egr??

I have a 96 CDT that was sold in California in 95 and the sticker says it meets all Ca. and Fed standards. It doesn't look like I have the EGR equipment. Did they use it in 95? What should I look for?

The EGR BS started Jan 1, '96. '94, '95, and early '96 didn't have it.

Thanks. I thought I was getting blind and not seeing it. One less mod I need to make.
