Changing the fluid in a manual transmission?

Dave,
The Gauge holder for the hole under the cup holder is sold by Geno's Garage.

I have purchased Boost, EGT & Trans for the A-pilar.

If you make use of that useless hole in the dash I think down the line you'll be sorry. Buying one gauge will just lead to buying another. Best to go all out on the gauges. Hine site is 20/20. I bought an a-pillar mount w/dual pyro&boost + trans temp, now I'm looking at a fuel pressure gauge. So what's nest? A triple mount a-pillar? Probably wont stop there.

That hole is not useless #ad
makes a great cell phone holder!

I am gonna flex my muscles on this and try to post a set of spa i installed here goes

<img src=http://www.mypage.onemain.com/Brandon&Danelle/Dscn0011.jpg WIDTH=640 HEIGHT=480>

This install turned out very nice you dont have to go to the console pod with full spa's, analog ok too, but I was pretty impressed with the console pod after driving around with it for a bit and just viewing it in its place, bottom line the console pod is a frequently forgotten alternative

Brandon, that looks pretty sharp!! My question is what are those guages monitoring? I recognize the boost, and assume one is the pyro, but I'm confused about the the other pressure and temps.

$%&%^& I cant shrink the pic any..... Maybe tomorrow... Well the gauges are as follows

gauges left to right

1=boost and oil temp

2=pre fuel filter fuel pressure and pre-turbo pyrometer
3=post fuel filter fuel pressure and post-turbo pyrometer
the red buttoms are programming buttons for each gauge
the red switch on the left is to enter programming mode w/o turning off ignition source

post turbo fuel pressure = brain dead... ... thanks for catching the typo

it is post turbo pyro egt
yes pressure fluctuations with the spa are solved, we read fuel press at the bottom of the fuel filter bowl not right at the pump, we acheive this only because we have upgraded ss fuel lines
SPA' are the greatest, cust service is awesome, nowell at perf diesel is awesome and a special thanks to Ron@spa for helping me to fool around with the products a little

I'm Pretty much a NEWBY. While waiting for my membership to go thru, I read in the forum about an Egt and Boost gage that fits in the "USELESS LITTLE HOLE IN THE DASH NEXT TO THE CUP HOLDER. I like the style of the Westec gage but after reading their catalog, I can't find a mount for that purpose, only for top of dash and pillar mounting. Is there a better gage? I'd like to hear from members on their preferances. Which location is best? Thanks for all info!

Dave, I have the SPA dual digital boost/EGT gauge. I like it because it is easy to read at a glance. It has lights that you can program to go on at any point that you want. I have mine on the pillar. I think that is the next best location to being in the dash with all of the factory gauges. You do not have to look as far away from the road to see what is going on with your engine.
