My truck seems to be running "fat" at lower boost (8-10 psi @ 900-1050 degrees and 1200- 1250 degrees @ 34- 36psi boost), which is up about 100- 150 degrees from what I am used to seeing. I know ambient temp will have an effect on this but it has been somewhat cool here in the Chicago area. EGT's are read pre turbo. I have also noticed it takes forever for the EGT's to lower once the truck is at idle, at least from 600 to 300 degrees. Can someone help?

2001 3500 QC 4x4 auto (Dunrite single disk TC and Transbuddy) 100hp injectors,Edge EZ(lowest setting), BD SuperB turbo, K&N fipk, 4" Banks, new OE cooler and hoses

Welcome to the TDR. :)

Would suggest posting this in the 24v engine section for more visibility. Maybe a moderator will move it for you, or make a new thread over there.

If it is taking longer to cool down, I would be inclined to think the there is a restriction in the exhaust. Or maybe a dirty air filter.

my BUPER B :-laf takes forever to cool down also. Very annoying to set and wait on it to cool down-400 deg. now and its off!!!

i dont know about the first part of your Q but welcome to TDR!
