whats up everyone, well i installed an autometer egt gauge, and it oesn't seem to want to work, i hooked everything up right, and won't work, when i first hooked it up it was stuck at 700 all the time, then it started to work once, saw it rise when i hit the throttle, and then stopped and hasn't worked since, not burried at 0, anyone experience this??? let me know thanks

how did you install it?

Did you disconnect the batteries first. Thermocouple's are very sensitive you may have fried it during installation. Check all of you wires first then maybe get a new thermocouple.

I hope that they can send me one for free, i just spend al ot of money on that stupid guage haha now it doesn't work, and the wire i see all over is like over 100 bucks, anywhere cheaper? and anyone know autometers hours??? thanks

Same thing happened to me when I Installed mine, I know I did everything right (good and proper connections), I wiggled the wires from the thermocouple to the shrink wrapped connections then secured with (MORE) wire ties, everything working fine (What the ?)
