When pulling into the driveway from HWY. the EGT continues to drop, but if you stop (like waiting for the garage door to open) and then proceed the EGT rises (even if only idling ahead in Drive) about 150* (can vary more, depending upon circumstances). This seems odd for pulling ahead 25' or so, almost coasting.

Is it the load of the transmission or something else which causes this rise?

Inquiring mind needs your thoughts, been noticing this for some time, but actually retained the thought long enough to remember ask! :rolleyes:
 
this is normal just changing the load on the engine just for a quick bit will make the pyro move around sounds like nothing to worry about.
