Well, you'll be adding more fuel. More fuel equates to more heat and higher EGTs. Yeah, I'd do the gauges. The second reason I would do them is lately as the weather is warming up down here, I'm noticing I need more time to get my temps below 300. Before, I'd wait a little bit and shut her down. Now I watch the temp until it's right. Takes the guess work out.

The 275's by themselves won't push the egt's too high until about 115 mph or so. If you are not going to drive that fast then it won't be a problem. However, your truck cost at least 30k, right? Buy at least the EGT gauge and don't have to wonder about what's going on.

Does anyone know what the effects of installing a set of Bosch 275 injectors will have on EGT's? Is it really necessary to have an EGT gauge if this is the only modification I plan on doing? Thanks.
