Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) EGT shutdown temp?

What temp does everyone let their EGT drop down to before shutting off?

300 degrees, others may vary but the concencious is around 300.

I allow my EGT to drop to below 300 degrees before I shut to engine off. This is the temperature the performance shop recommended.

That's what I thought I remembered reading.

Just installed some Hewitt gauges and that's the temp I've been using.

i let mine get to 250* pre turbo before i turn her off..... ive noticed with my 16 housing, the temps seem to come down a little quicker

mine doesnt get down below 400 unless its like 13degrees out side but i let it set and idle for about 5 or six minutes before i shut it down
