Egt thermocouple

I installed a 3 piece DPS exhaust manifold on Saturday. Feel a little rough today. Got in some weird positions. I left the turbo on. Bolts were so seized I did not want to add more work. Overall I think it is made pretty well. I got a cosmetic blemished off eBay for 300. Came with gaskets. Used studs and Allen bolts. My old manifold had a large crack on the underside in that valley. I did not want to chance a Chinese casting.
In process of removing the thermocouple off old manifold I twisted the collet off. Do I need to get a new probe? It is connected with banks gauges. Is there a source for these thermocouple holders?

If you damaged the collar thats above the compression ring then you'll have to replace the thermocouple. If the thermocouple wire goes all the way to the gauge then you'll have to replace whatever that exact Banks part number is since the gauge and the thermocouple are a matched component for accuracy.

Not sure what type you have, but this might work, seems expensive so you might want to just get thermocouple and all.

The thermocouple that came with my Isspro went into a standard brass compression fitting with 1/8” NPT. They’re available at most any auto parts store for cheap. As long as you can get the old one off and you haven’t damaged the thermocouple itself, measure the diameter of yours and get you a fitting.

Thanks for the replies. All good ideas. I may have trouble getting the old fitting off the thermocouple.
