I just put an edge box on my truck, after reading about the need for guages, I installed boost, pyro. and have a fuel pres that is not hooked up yet. when I installed the boost guage I just cut the hose from the turbo to the bypass and spliced the elbow in.

I get boost press. up to 40 psi , and egt up to 1250 in quick time. Should I take the elbow out of the bypass line, or cut back on the position of the edge box to 1or 2 it is now on the position it came with which is 3.

I am now getting 19. 5 mpg empty, truck has 3500 miles . befor I was lucky to get 13or 14. I have more power than 2 truck could use. have a flat spot at start then a kick in the behind that moves very fast. I am worried about these egt.

where is best place to hook fuel press. guage ? thanks.

EGT of 1250* for a short time will not hurt the truck. Is that mileage fromthe overhead? If so it is no longer valid since the EZ is fooling the computer. Not familiar with the turbo setup on the 600 so not much help for ya there.

I'll hit 1400+ when racing around. . 1250 is nothing to worry about. Not sure how the turbo works on the 04. 5 with the electronic waste gate but from what I hear you'll see a lot higher psi coming from the turbo on your truck. Sorry not much help
