A couple of weeks ago I was reading through the posts and the Pastor said had said something about if your EGT would not go past 950 at WOT there were a couple of things to look at. Now I can't find the post. The the highest temps I get are 930 at WOT. This is with the 21cm turbo and stock manifold. The 16cm, manifild and the boost guage are sitting in my garage waiting for me to get home and install them.

That was some pages back when I discussed EGT and related items. Look at the post titled something about "The little plastic washer in fuel pump" If you need more info on the subject post here or pm me.

Thanks Scott, that is exactly what I was looking for, however it raises more questions for me. Is this something that I need to worry about? Is there something that I can do to check how "healthy" my pumps (supply and injection) are?

Right now I've got alot of time on my hands so I'm making a list of things to do to the truck when I get home. I want the power without all the smoke.

I forgot to put in my signature that my power screw is turned in 1. 5 turns and my pump is advanced 1/8". Haven't messed with the starwheel or fuel pin/cone yet kinda nervous about that one. Truck is my daily driver and if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all!

950 for T-couple in the exhaust pipe (may as well take if off, for that matter, it's useless in the pipe); 1250 for in the manifold (where it BELONGS). You can check the lift pump pressure at the banjo bolt just above the fuel filter assembly- 1. 8" NPT fitting. Not sure what the specs are, but the pressures are strictly RPM related. AS for the injector pump, if it runs and sounds good, good MPG, I'd say it's good enough. Unless you have the money, along with your excess time, then get it rebuilt just to be safe, but beware the shop that "rebuilds" it, too. Some are better than others, and you get what you pay for most times.

TSuter, how much has your manifold shrunk? Or is the 3 pc just for an upgrade? PM me if the stock manifold is still good and not shrunken (no broken bolts, match up with ports on the head, etc)
