EGT's After valve adjust?

In may I did a valve adjust. Since then my EGT's have dropped. They used to run at about 500 to 550. Now they have been consistanly running at about 400 to 450. This is at 60mph on flat road. Why is this?

I also don't top out as high anymore. I used to be able to hit just over 900. Now I max out at 750 to 800.

My stock camplate is full forward and starwheel is too.

Your exhaust gas temps are probably lower because your engine is breathing better.
