A couple of weeks ago my EGT's on my attitude started reading about 200 degrees hotter when climbing any sort of hill. I'm trying to see what others usually run when cruising down the highway at 65 or pulling a hill (5% grade or so). I used to see around 560 to 600 (4 -6 psi) at 65 and around 700 (14 - 20 psi) if I climb any grade (all of these numbers are empty not towing). Now my temps are the same going down the highway but as soon as I start going up a grade they will climb to 850 - 900 (14 - 20 psi). I had the truck in the shop and changed the waste gate out but still no change in the EGT's. The shop tells me everything tests normal. If I stomp on it the boost will shoot right up to 36 psi and the EGT temps will hit about 1100 on a 0 -60 run. But it is the climbing temps that are getting me nervous. Is there anyway to check to see if the attitude is reading the right temp? Do the pyro's go bad? I'm afraid to hook up the toyhauler and head out with these high numbers that I get unloaded.

I have same truck with about same mods. Cruising temp is about the same and uphill I run between 800-900, so it sound normal to me. I do not know why the change in temp, could be thermocoupler. Any recent changes to truck or lack of maintenance(air filter).

The outside air temp will have an effect on the readings as well. Those numbers look pretty close to mine as well.
