I'm going to put 6" mitered stacks on my 03' and was wondering if anyone had done this using a 5" turbo back system and if so what kind of EGT drops did you notice. Also does anyone sell the 5" exhaust system in pieces? I was thinking of going from the down pipe into a 5" donaldson? and then into 5 in crossover in the bed and finally out the top with 6". Anyone tried this? If so where did you get your parts?

I only saw a 50* drop in EGTs when I installed the 5" exhaust (turbo-to-tail) from www.bigexhaust.com Saw no change going from that system to the stacks. The downpipe was 4", then the first piece of pipe after that, had the inlet end necked down to 4", the rest of it was 5". The only piece of that system I am using now, is the first piece that is necked down.

In your truck profile you say you have a dealer intalled jake brake? You mean exhaust brake not jake brake right? Unless you have a prototype jake brakes aren't available for pickups yet.

on my '03 I ditched the exhaust elbow and ran 4" from the turbo for 12" and it then goes to 5" from there back to my stacks. the outlet of the elbow is 3. 5", you will not really gain anything going to a 5" unless you are going to push high HP (500+) and the stock turbo is still the biggest chokepoint.
