My truck, '94, 12 valve Cummins, 5 speed, 230 HP, with a 14 centimeter housing and number 8 plate. My EGT's reach 1200 to 1250 degrees when pulling.
My friend has a '97, 12 valve, 5 speed, 330 HP, 10 plate. His EGT's reach 1200 degrees when pulling.
QUESTION: Why is it that our EGT's are about the same with a 100 HP difference? Is the air flow different in the engines? Or is it something else?
