FASS Trouble

I have a Horton, I called and they said they stopped making them due to changes in the Dodge line. however you can still buy the Clutch, and I found a guy who makes plastic blades that will bolt to the Horton Clutch. I did my own controls for the Horton any way so wiring is no big deal. In the winter it never engages and in 85 degree weather it engages off and on. A/C works on high pressure so fan only enges when pressure raises.

Fans are only 5500cfm

Those fans won't work on the newer trucks, we need a mimium of 8000cfm to keep us cool.

And I'm told that 10000cfm would be better.

They don't seem to work for the older trucks either, 18k gross. They sure look purdy though.

Does the 3rdGen come with electric fans stock?
No, They have a huge belt driven fixed blade fan with a fan clutch that is PMW (Pulse Width Modulated) by the engine controller.

It's pretty slick cuz the fan kinda just free wheels along with very little load on the engine until increased air flow needed and as that requirement climbs the signals increase to the fan clutch, engaging it more.
