I had FAL fans on my tacoma and I loved them! Great product, worthe the penny for sure. I only had one problem where I hit a really hard set of whoops (that bent the frame) and the controller stopped working. Luckily I had wired in two bypass switches that sat in the cab. One to cut the ground to the fan, so it wouldn't come on, say if I was in a water crossing, and the other to force the fan on. After talking to technical support I found the fan controller could just be pushed back on to the connections and it worked fine until I smashed them against a tree.
I was just thinking the other day why noone seems to run electric fans on our trucks. I assumed we just had a great electric fan clutch or some magic.
Hope it works great! Before I smashed my fans into a tree, FAL was coming out with an optional controller that provided adjustable fan speed, and a run time after shutdown, now that would be cool.
