Electric flip out tow mirrors.....

Does anyone have any info if DC plans to make the flip-out tow mirrors with electric controls? I have the manual mirrors on my 01, but there is the knock out for the switch on the door panel. I know there is other brands of electric mirrors available, but would prefer the DC mirrors. Any rumors floating out there?? Sarge

I understand that the '03s have them, but that they are a different style to fit the new look. They won't fit the 2nd gen doors.

Have you looked behind the knockout or door panel? I just wondered if the wiring was already there? If it was, I would imagine you could get a switch and a set of power mirrors from an 02 1500 and do with conversion using the mounts from your 01 manual mirrors. At least this is what I am thinking about with a new 2002 I am looking at.
