Electric Lumbar support Broken

Has anyone had their electric lumbar support break? They want $700 for a new seat back!!:--) Unfortunately, The #&$^ thing broke in the most uncomfortable position. And 6000 miloes after warranty!!!! I heard the 04's come with a manual lumbar. Has any one had this problem? If so did DC help you

Yes... 04's have manual lumbar support (yet another cost saver for DC). My 01' had electric lumbar and I never had any problems with it.

I feel your pain. I wanted to buy some new seat foam for my Dakota, the price from the ******* was $1500. Yes, fifteen hundred dollars. I almost choked when they told me. Anyway, I figured out my problem and it wasn't worn out foam.





6k out of the 36k warranty?

yes mine broke too the dealer fixed under warranty i have about 35000 miles

yeah it was originally 42000 miles when it broke. My dealer did not work with me. Bunch of holes that they are. But they would be happy to sell me a $700. 00 dollar seat back!!!!

Well I guess no one else has had this problem!!! Is it that i just have bad luck or not many people have electric lumbAR?

Same problem with mine, asked about it on this forum and others with no responses.

21k plus on mine and still working, did however buy the extended warranty that does cover basically bumper to bumper for 100k though!!
