Where's that creak coming from?

My driver side electric window, when coming up, slows way down before getting to the top. I pushed on the glass and discovered the window is rocking forward. I can push the glass, the window will straighten and go to the top easily.
Anyonelse experienced this before I go try to get this fixed? My truck is a '98.

bryanbb,
Don't have power window option.
I believe your window has come off front of track. When it rocks(moves/drops) forward it is binding against the front run channel making it hard for window motor to push it up.
Looking at manual if the front and or rear channels are adjusted to tight this can cause problems.

bryanbb,
Back again. Was down in south Florida on Saturday. Tried to help brother out with his power windows. Some told him they were off the track. His drivers side window was out of the rear run channel(track). But his main problem (symptoms similar to yours) was that his font scissors arm was broken. The track the nylon runners slide in rusted, the front runner quit moving (the scissors assembly was also badly rusted). On his passenger side it hadn't broke yet but the front scissors was badly bent by the same rust action. I think the salt water and moisture got to the inside of door. His car is a lot older.
Hopefully this isn't your problem.
