Dumb question:
I'm going to install a boost gauge, and I want as much information as I can get before I order parts and such. Each boost gauge I've found has been listed under the "mechanical gauge" section of the manufacturers' catalogs and web sites. This means that I have to run a pressurized hose into the back of the gauge, right? #ad
If so, has anyone had problems doing this with a pillar-style gauge mount? Does anyone make an electrical air pressure guage so I can leave the sender under the hood?

All of the Boost Gauges that I know of use small diameter tubing directly to the gauge. Mine is on the A pillar and has worked fine for a couple of years. I havn't heard of any with trouble.

The SPA digital gauges have an electric boost signal back to the guage.
