While installing a Jake brake on my 2005 3500 I broke one of the male pins in the 34 pin electrical connector on the drivers side of the engine compartment. This was the key switched 12 volt power pin #13 I think. I would run down to the Dodge dealer and get a replacement if it wasn't 130 miles away.

I was wondering if these were Metripack pins and connectors or simular and are there any commerical sources besides the dealer for the pins?

Many of the dealers have two large blue boxes with the connectors and terminals. They are a few years old, so it might not be a sure thing on current model year stuff. Call the parts department and ask them if they have the big blue electrical connector assortment boxes. If they do, they will know what your talking about.

Otherwise they have access to an electrical connector web site. Again all connectors are not serviced separately.

If you are talking about the ecm pins it is a Cummins item. It has only been offered to Dodge dealers in the way of an expensive kit. The part# is not easy to find and I am not aware of any dealers locally that bought it. Contact your Cummins dealer and hope they are in a helpful mood when you call.

If you know what it looks like go to an airport and ask one the mechanics. They looked to me like the ones the Air Force uses and, therefore, the aircraft industry. He/she might even let you have or use an extractor.
