Electrical Connector Question

I want to hook my CB Radio up to a power source. I want to use the electrical connector that is under the center console that provides power to the power outlet inside the console. There is not much room under there to see how the connector comes apart. I can just get my hand on it. The connector is gray with a red tab on the bottom and small orange blades that appear to extend on both sides of the connector. Does anyone know how you get this connector to release? I want to tap into the wires and run the power to my CB which is mounted vertically in front of the center seat. Thanks if you can provide any information.

Also, how do I had my truck information to the bottom of my msg? I'm new here. 2005 SRW Quad Cab 3500 diesel.

It's always best to run a sepapate wire to the battery for a CB radio.

Check another connector that is more accessible. Once you figure out how to release the latch, it will be easier to disconnect hard to access connectors. I think there are two of them behind the left battery. There was discussion on the fuel tank thread on the connectors.

Thanks everyone, I think your correct, I will run more wires and connect it directly to the battery; however, I will look behind the battery to see how those connectors work.
