Hello Guys

Was driving home yesterday and my ABS and airbag light chimed on my dash. Then i lost speedo the then the tach soon followed by the rest of the dash gages and then the check engine and check gages lights came on. I was looking for a safe place to park this thing as it could have died at any moment  I then noticed the the trip meter was showing " no bus" It still ran fine and i was a block from home so off i went. I was in need to go somewhere else w/ the wife so i could not work on it right then. Got in it the this morning, and the only thing wrong was that the check engine light was on and all other systems were functioning normally. This was short lived. Soon all the other systems were failing although the truck ran normally. The Comp was off when this all started and turning it on and that did not change anything. I have not done anything electrical lately and want to know where to start. The only thing that has been done lately was a change in turbo housing. It didnot have the proper waste gate actuator, so i have been running w/o any closing of the waste gate which means no boost lots of EGT's and no power. the new turbo(Quickspool HX40) is on the way and i didn't feel like putting it back the way it was. Could this have anything to do with it?

Any Ideas fellas?

Thanks for the look

DD

I'm no expert.

That said, I doubt that the turbo situation has to do with your electrical changes by itself. But did you disconnect the battery(s) when you worked on the turbo? If so (and even if not I guess) I'd go back to the connections, especially the ground connections. After making sure that they are clean and tight I'd go looking for any ground which might have lost conductivity. I mean bad ground connections.
