Currently stuck up in Tomahawk WI with a 2003 CTD auto, when you come to a stop,you can feel a thud in the trans and when you take off in D the tach climbs and it is very slow to come up to speed?? 2yrs ago I replaced the Governor pressure solenoid and the pressure transducer. That had almost the same symptoms as this. Except now I also have a no bus code on the odometer at times and the gauges sporadically go to 0.... It is at a small shop now and they are thinking it is electrical and trying to find the issue. It has been super wet for the last 3 days?? Sucky hunting trip.

The very slow sounds like it is taking off in 2nd gear symptom of gov press. solenoid . But you have bigger issues. Try disconnecting batteries for a reboot.

hoping I can get her home...no one has a clue $200 for a diagnosis of nothing and no stores stock either the press solenoid or transducer..

Seems tc is slipping. But I haven't drove auto trans for years.
