electronic brake control

getting ready to get an electronic brake control, i did a search and didnt find an answer if the 98 truck has a hookup for a brake control or if you have to tap the wires. also how indepth is it, i may be short on time, just looking for any feedback on hooking up brake controls. thanks

It will have the hook up if the truck is equipped with the trailer tow package. Good luck

A friend with a 98' Dodge gasser recently bought the harness. His truck was originally equipped with the tow package. The harness was purchassed from Tekonosha. The wire colors matched the Tekonosha brake controller I sold him. I recently upgraded to the Prodigy.

Speaking of a Prodigy did I read somewhere that they are having a recall??
