2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Eliminate CAD on D60

Who has, or heard about removing the CAD on the front axle? Like having the the axle retubed and a new shaft installed. I think the CAD would be the weak link and the new one don't have one and lots of trucks have had some sort of set-up for years.

I remember reading about this type of conversion a long time ago in one of the 4x4 mags. I'm not sure but I think it was dynatrac that supplied the parts.
