OK mark talked me into you can thank him :D

here's a bone, the thing to remember is this. they salvage this stuff from aircraft so you are buying as is. its usually in good shape but i have the lugery of buying in person and picking out the good stuff. years ago we raced a 1/4 midget and this place kept us in the fancy stuff real cheap.

Shapiro Supply Co. St Louis Mo. 314 382 7000 or 800 833 1259 you have to call and just ask about it. i have never bought it over the phone so i dont know how that will play out.

BTW all you machinists out there the also specialize in scrap metal, you name it they have it. at scrap prices, not retail. just turn it down a little and get to the good stuff :D they know me on a first name basis :D

todd , its been over a year , and yes , that thread is one that should get sticky ...

mark good luck on the big numbers , do you drive it on a daily basis ? its can get very finicky and nothing is worse than when it breaks far from home ...

i need to get a AAA plus card :--)

Mark; That is pretty close to the setup that I've been running for a few months now with no complaints at all.

One other thing I did was drill out the fitting that replaced the banjo's. If you look inside it you would see why.

My truck is much happier now and the 16psi gauge is pegged under normal driving conditions. :D

I tool Jim Fulmer for a ride Sunday... He was pretty happy. FP never fell below 12psi and stayed at 13+ almost all of the time.

We had a lot of fun. :D :D

FYI guys, a 120 degree fitting at the bottom of the filter makes the line between the filter and vp44 lay a lot nicer than putting a 90 degree down there.
