Emblem Removal ?

I have removed the emblem from my door to clean the lines of the truck up. How do I remove the two-sided tape that is left? Thanks

I would use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). I have some 99%and know that works. Might try cutting most of it off with dental floss and use the alcohol on what you can't peel off. Also mequires cleaner works good too. Some guys recommend a heat gun also, but I haven't tried that. Not too much of a problem, just stay with it and be patient. These paint jobs are easy too scratch so no metal objects. Good luck

When I removed mine I used a wooden paint stirring stick to remove most of the tape. very carefully I scraped the bulk off then used gas to remove the rest. The gas was slow going but it did not touch the paint. I was afraid to use anything stronger for fear it would dissolve the paint. It took about 1 hour per door.

I've always just rubbed it with my fingers until it rolled into little rubbery balls. Sometimes I have to rub pretty hard.

you can use goo gone. works really will and easy to.
