Thanks, my lic tags are coming up pretty soon. I have to have an emissions test this year for that. I didnt think there was any emissions controls on the 02. And I was going to question the validity of testing my truck, other than just to waste my time and get some more money from me.

The test that is done in Washington is a smoke test. The put a pickup on the tell pipe and then you have to quickly take the engine up to a high (~2500) RPM and then let off. You do this three time in a row. Turn off you EZ box before going in and you should have no problems.

As Kevin indicated, it's the ol' throttle "snap test" done in this state and is pretty forgiving. Unless your truck has visible smoke coming from the tailpipe, you'll pass with flying colors. They don't measure the chemical makeup of diesel exhaust in this state... only the percentage obscured from smoke.
