What is the best way to fill-up the torque converter and trans. on a new transmission? From what I read in the manual its about 6 quarts at a time. Thanks

Yes, a few quarts at a time will do it. Start the engine and put it in gear between fills to get fluid pushed around. Once you have enough fluid to build pressure, you'll feel it engaging and you'll have power to match your throttle pedal. Once you hit this point, continue filling, but go in samll increments so you can fill it just a hair below the top of the full line. Then as you drive, and the fluid gets hot, it will expand slightly and you'll be right on the full line.

After you've driven it for a test run, check your fluid level again. It will more than likely be different than when you checked it before driving it around a bit.

If you're a bit over, easiest way to remove a little is through the drain plug in the bottomo of the pan.
