Encino, TX?

I've possibly been offered a job that would require me moving and working around Encino, TX. I was wondering if anyone on here has been there, or lives in the area, and has an opinion on it. From what I can gather if a pretty desolate place, not too far from Falfurrius and Kingsville though. Thanks

If it's near Kingsville it will be hot in the summer. I agree with Denny you better know Spanish or a little of it. I am sure it gets warm in Iowa but Texas summers are brutal and humid. You definitely would not have to worry about snow anymore.

Pretty good deer hunting down there though. I have been down through there. Most of the locals speak fairly good english I have found out.

Not pretty good hunting - - Its Outstanding for Mule Deer - - Bad part is there is no public land for hunting - - Gotta' know someone with land or pay through the nose for a lease.
